Wedding Venue Shropshire

Halston is available as a venue for your wedding. Unlike hotels, if you hold your wedding here the whole venue is yours and yours alone for the duration.

Smaller receptions can be held inside the house and for larger ones a marquee can be used.

The historic chapel, one of only two timber-framed churches in Shropshire, is also available for marriage blessings.

Historic Halston

Halston's recorded history goes back to before the Norman Conquest.

John 'Mad Jack' Mytton was born at Halston in 1796. He inherited a fortune worth about £500,000 a year by today’s standards, but died in a debtors' prison at the age of 37.
